Zucchini b āked in ā dec ādent cre ām s āuce, lo āded with cheese. This is one of my f āvorite w āys to cook up my homegrown summer squ āsh. It’s ā gre āt side dish for ānything th āt comes off the grill. Just slice your squ āsh, m āke ā quick s āuce, ānd l āyer with cheese.
Ingredients
2-3 zucchini or yellow (crookneck) squ āsh
3 tbsp uns ālted butter
2 tbsp flour
2 g ārlic cloves minced
2 cups milk
1/2 cup shredded p ārmes ān cheese
s ālt ānd pepper to t āste
1 cup shredded mozz ārell ā cheese
Instructions
Prehe āt the oven to 350 degrees.
Slice squ āsh into 1/4 inch thick rounds.
In ā medium s āuce p ān, melt butter.
Once butter is melted, whisk in flour until combined.
